Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities - State Grants ADP lacks written procedures to ensure that it uses Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities—State Grants (SDFSC) funds only during the authorized period of availability. Moreover, ADP did not consistently follow the procedures it described to us for ensuring that the federal funds for the SDFSC grant are in compliance with the period of- availability requirement. 2006-07

Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities - State Grants Condition 1: ADP used an incorrect Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) title in its award documents and contracts for seven of its subrecipients. ADP also did not include the name of the federal agency and the requirements imposed by federal laws and regulations in the Notice of Grant Agreement updates for four of the five counties in the audit sample. Condition 2: ADP did not follow its procedures for initiating written and verbal contact with those counties that had delinquent OMB Circular A-133 audits. 2006-07
Condition 1: Remains uncorrected: Because ADP passes down the federal statute, regulations, and guidance through its agreements with the counties, ADP informs subrecipients of the requirements imposed upon them, which was the condition of the auditor.
