Recommendation #15 To: Shasta College

Shasta should review and adhere to applicable guidance related to the Clery Act, including the OPE handbook and the Uniform Crime Reporting Handbook, to ensure that it is including all required disclosures in its annual security reports.

6-Month Agency Response

Shasta College revamped the 2014 Annual Security Report to include all policy disclosures required by the Jeanne Clery Act. The report was mailed to California Auditors office.

California State Auditor's Assessment of 6-Month Status: Fully Implemented

60-Day Agency Response

Shasta College has implemented policies and procedures to ensure all the disclosures have been released. The 2014 Annual Security Report will be released on October 1, 2015. This report with supporting documentation will support a full completion of this objective.

In addition we have and will submit supportive policies and procedures to fully support the completion of this objective to the California State Auditors.
