What is the position?

As the Business Services Manager, you lead a team dedicated to supporting the day-to-day operations at the California State Auditor's office. You are responsible for supervising staff performing a wide variety of work including drafting contracts, purchasing goods, working with vendors, and answering phones at our reception desk. When there is a lot to do or someone is out, you are willing to roll up your sleeves and support the team. You are also personally responsible for developing complex analytical work and working collaboratively with other units in the office. You use good judgement to produce high quality work, establish and maintain positive working relationships, and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
